Hyderabad: Panic prevailed for a while at Chatrinaka main road in the old city when fire broke out on the second floor of a G + 2 floors building on Tuesday afternoon. No casualties were reported in the incident.

According to the fire officials, the fire broke out in the kitchen of the house and soon spread into the entire house. On noticing the fire, the occupants rushed downstairs from the building and alerted the fire department.

Two fire tenders from Chandrayangutta and Moghalpura fire station reached the spot and doused the fire within half an hour. The cause of the fire is being ascertained.
