Lebanon’s Health Ministry says despite the ceasefire agreement between Israel and the Hezbollah resistance group, Israel has attacked the southern part of the Arab country and killed two people.

The Israeli regime attacked southern Lebanon with drones on Wednesday and killed two civilians.

An “Israeli enemy drone” struck a car in the town of Ain Baal in the coastal district of Tyre, the ministry said.

Israeli forces claimed that the man they killed in Ain Baal was a “Hezbollah operative.” Avichay Adraee, the head of the Arab media division in the Israeli regime’s forces, later wrote on his X account that the “Hezbollah operative” has been a senior member of Hezbollah named Hussein Nazih Barji.

The ministry also reported that the Israeli regime’s strike on the town of Yater “killed one person and wounded another.”

An official from Yater said the strike killed a man who was using a bulldozer to remove debris from his home, which had been damaged during the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.

Wednesday was the third consecutive day that the Israeli regime attacked Lebanon. The regime has claimed that it has killed two “Hezbollah operatives” in the previous days.

The Israeli regime has continued its attacks on Lebanon despite a November ceasefire agreement that sought to end more than one year of hostilities between the occupying entity and Hezbollah, including two months of total war.

According to the agreement, the regime has to withdraw from southern Lebanon, and Hezbollah has to pull back its forces behind the Litani River.

The regime, however, has not fulfilled its part of the agreement and, in addition to near-daily attacks on Lebanon, has kept its forces in the Arab country in “five strategic positions.”

Lebanon’s government has repeatedly called on the UN and the international community to force Israel to end its attacks and withdraw its remaining forces.
