None from Telangana tops JEE Main paper – II

Hyderabad: None from Telangana secured a perfect 100 percentile in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main paper – II (BArch and BPlanning) results released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday.
With 99.974 percentile, only one student – Govindu Aarush – from the State topped the OBC-NCL category in paper -II (BArch). The results have been made available on the website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/.
Only two students – Pratham Alpesh Prajapati of Karnataka and Patne Neel Sandesh of Maharashtra – obtained 100 percentile in paper – II (BArch). Similarly, three students – Gautam Kannapiran of Tamil Nadu, Tarun Rawat of Uttarakhand, and Sunidhi Singh of Madhya Pradesh scored 100 percentile in paper – II (BPlanning).
A total of 63,378 out of 91,378 candidates registered for the paper – II (BArch) appeared this year. Likewise, 41,012 students registered for the paper – II (BPlanning) and 26,590 appeared for the exams held in January and April sessions.
The JEE Main paper – II is conducted for admissions to undergraduate architecture and planning programmes offered by the NITs, Schools of Planning and Architecture and other centrally funded technical institutions in the country.
