Hyderabad: The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) signed an MoU with NASSCOM / IT-ITeS Sector Skills Council to undertake skill development initiatives in emerging technologies and upskill one lakh learners annually over the course of three years in the State.

The agreement is aimed at imparting training to upgrade engineering and non-engineering students and faculty skills in emerging technologies. Micro-learning content, foundation, and deep-skilling courses (both free and paid), besides a specialized offline course in Embedded Software Development and Testing to build a critical digital capability, will be offered as part of the MoU.

Certified learners will be linked to potential employers via Skill Sector Council (SSC) NASSCOM’s Talent Connect, an employment-enabling platform, supporting their transition from learning to earning.

IT Minister D Sridhar Babu, TGCHE Chairman Prof V Balakista Reddy, and NASSCOM IT-ITeS Sector Skills Council CEO Dr. Abhilasha Gaur participated in the event.
