Telangana: NIMZ oustees prevented from meeting Revanth Reddy

The police also take several people into preventive custody in Zaheerabad and other places suspecting that they may disturb CM’s public meeting

Sangareddy: Sangareddy police prevented people from the displaced villages of National Investment and Infrastructure Zone (NIMZ) from reaching Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s public meeting venue in Zaheerabad. While people gathered at their respective villages to proceed towards Zaheerabad town, the police prevented them.
The displaced persons said that they wanted to raise their issues before the Chief Minister. The police allowed just four representatives who were actually associated with the Congress party.
The displaced villagers picked up an argument with the police at Mamidgi, Gangwar junction and several other places. Meanwhile, the police also took several people into preventive custody in Zaheerabad and other places suspecting that they might disturb the public meeting.
