Furniture, home appliances in Additional Collector’s camp office gutted in Asifabad

Furniture in a camp office belonging to Additional Collector was gutted when fire broke out due to supposedly electric short-circuit in Asifabad. The loss of property damage is assessed to be about Rs 3 lakh.

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Furniture in a camp office belonging to Additional Collector was gutted when fire broke out due to supposedly electric short-circuit in Asifabad on Sunday. The loss of property damage is assessed to be about Rs 3 lakh.
Sofas, a wooden cot and home appliances in a room of the camp office of Additional Collector David were reduced to ashes. Cause of the fire was an electric short-circuit that originated in a stabilizer of an air-conditioning machine in the room.
A fire engine from Asifabad fire station was summoned to douse the flames. Lead fireman Karthik and staffers of the fire extinguished the flames.
