HYDERABAD: The Telangana Forest Development Corporation (TGFDC) launched its 10-year celebrations, marking a decade of sustainable forestry, eco-tourism, and green innovation in the State.
TGFDC Vice Chairman and Managing Director G Chandrashekar Reddy formally launched the celebrations on Monday. Speaking at the inauguration, he emphasised the importance of sustainable forest management and community participation.
These celebrations aim to highlight the Corporation’s achievements, connect with stakeholders, and promote environmental consciousness among the public. During the 10-day celebrations, different activities and programmes are being conducted involving different sections.
The closing ceremony will be held on May 14 at the Botanical Garden, Hyderabad. It will include award presentations to honour the outstanding contributions of individuals and divisions within TGFDC, said a press release.
