Telangana: Singareni Collieries to act tough against fraudsters misusing its name

Management asks victims to lodge complaints with Singareni vigilance department; Rs 10,000 reward to be given to those who disclose details about fraudulent people

Peddapalli: The Singareni Collieries Company Limited has warned of action against fraudulent persons and their accomplices who collect money from different persons promising favours in the name of the company.

In a statement released on Wednesday, a day after one of its employees was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau for collecting money from employees promising transfers, the SCCL management asked victims to lodge complaints with the Singareni vigilance department. Details of complainants would not be disclosed. Moreover, a reward of Rs 10,000 would be given to the people who disclose details about fraudulent people.

The management also asked employees to lodge complaints with the vigilance wing and the ACB if anybody demanded bribes in Singareni areas, coal mines and departments. Victims could lodge complaints with the SCCL vigilance department by dialling 9491144104.
