Hyderabad: Van gutted after hitting high-tension wire in Santoshnagar

Police said the vehicle, which was carrying fodder to a dairy farm in Santoshnagar Colony, came into contact with a high-tension wire, sparking a fire that caused panic in the surrounding residential area.

Hyderabad: A van was gutted down after coming in contact with high tension wire at Santoshnagar on Wednesday night.

According to the police, the vehicle loaded with fodder was on its way to a dairy farm at Santoshnagar colony when it came in contact with high tension wire. Fire started emanating from the vehicle creating a commotion in the residential area.

On information, a fire tender from Chandrayangutta fire station reached the spot and doused the fire.
