Hyderabad: Telangana swimmers bagged two gold and two bronze in the Khelo India Youth Games

Hyderabad: Telangana swimmers bagged two gold and two bronze in the Khelo India Youth Games in Bihar.

M. Suhas Preetham clinched gold in the men’s 200m individual medley and a bronze in the 200m backstroke. Varshith Dhulipudi settled for a bronze in the same category.

Preetham also won a bronze in the 200m backstroke.

In women’s section, Sri Nithya Sagi won the gold in the 200m backstroke.

The results: Men: 200m IM: 1. M. Suhas Preetham Mylari (Tg) 2:11.00, 2. M.S. Nitheesh (TN) 2:11.21, 3. Varshith Dhulipudi (TG).

200m backstroke: 1. Vedanta Venkata Madhir (Kar) 2:09.86, 2. Aman Abhijit Sunga (Kar) 2:10.06, 3.M. Suhas Preetham (TG) 2:10.56.

Women: 200m backstroke: 1. Sri Nithya Sagi (TG) 2:24.44, 2. Naisha (Kar) 2:28.39, 3. Jaya Yadav (UP) 2:29.34.
