The residents received messages in the local community WhatsApp groups informing them about the guidelines. It is learnt that the residents are sincerely adhering to the advisory in almost all the residential complexes in the city and suburbs.
A message issued by the security team of an upscale gated community stated that, “in view of the current situation at India’s borders and in consideration of potential security concerns within the Hyderabad area, we are implementing enhanced security protocols to safeguard our community. We kindly request your full cooperation with the following guidelines, effective immediately.”
The safety measures include checking of vehicles of visitors, non-residents, and vendors; vendor and delivery checks, and increased patrolling & CCTV surveillance. The security managers asked the people to report about unattended items or any suspicious activity promptly.
