Hyderabad: Annamacharya Bhavana Vahini (ABV) has announced the launch of Tandanana – The Annamacharya International Music Competition 2025, in celebration of the 617th Annamacharya Jayanthi.

The initiative was formally inaugurated by Sakshiroopananad Swamiji, Chinmaya Mission, Hyderabad, at Annamayyapuram in the city on Monday.

Dr. Shobha Raju, Founder-President, ABV, Dr. Nandakumar, Managing Trustee, ABV, and others participated in the launch event which featured soulful renditions of Annamacharya Sankeertanas by popular playback singers and ABV students, a press release said.

Dr. Shoba Raju said ‘Tandanana’ is poised to be a landmark initiative in the global mission to spread the timeless beauty of Annamacharya Keertanas. Participants from around the world were invited to showcase their talent in rendering Annamacharya Keerthanas across three age-based categories of sub-junior (below 6 years), junior (7 to 15 years) and senior (16 years and above).
