The Hezbollah leader delivered a speech on the ninth martyrdom anniversary of senior Jihadi commander Mustafa Badreddine. During the speech, Sheikh Qassem addressed the latest developments, the party’s Media Relations announced on Monday.
At the start of his speech, the Hezbollah leader honored the martyred commander’s family, resistance and salutes the martyrs of Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and Iran.
He said that Martyr Commander S. Mustafa Badreddine played a pivotal role in Syria for five years, solely in support of the resistance, not any internal conflict.
Later, Sheikh Qassem said that Hezbollah seeks a united Syria, free from minority attacks by some factions, and strongly condemns the ongoing Israeli aggression.
“Since 1948, we’ve faced an “Israeli” project, backed by the US and the West, aiming to impose colonialism and reshape the Middle East.
Gaza’s resilience led the Al-Aqsa Flood movement, exposing the occupying entity that kills people, destroys life, and murders children, according to the Hezbollah’s secretary general.
It is impossible for Netanyahu, no matter the support he gathers, to seize the land and rights of the Palestinians, he said, adding that the US and Western allies sought to install the colonial regime of Israel as part of a greater Middle East plot.
“The martyrdom of Sayyed Nasrallah ensures the resistance remains strong and honorable, victorious through sacrifice and martyrdom,” he continued.
He also noted that “In the Mighty Warriors Battle, the resistance displayed legendary steadfastness, preventing the Israeli enemy from advancing.”
The recent Israeli aggression on Nabatieh and Iqlim Al-Tuffah is playing with fire, will not allow the Israeli enemy to achieve its goals, he continued to underscore.
“This new era under President General Joseph Aoun brings great hopes as we are partners in it and a part of it,” Sheikh Qassem further said.
“We want Arab countries to return to Lebanon, and we seek global cooperation with Lebanon,” the Hezbollah leader further asserted, according to Al-Manar TV EN website.
