HYDERABAD: With the three-member Officers Committee expected to submit its report on demands of the employee unions to the State government on Wednesday, the TGEJAC has decided to postpone the lunch hour demonstration scheduled for May 15.
The TGEJAC held its executive committee meeting here on Tuesday to discuss the future course of action. The TGEJAC members have been demanding the government to fulfil 57 demands, including 10 financial and 47 non-financial issues. The State government was due to pay five DAs to the employees.
The TGEJAC led by its chairman M Jagadeeshwar and secretary general E Sreenivasa Rao demanded the government to release the pending Rs 10,000 crore employees bills, implement 51 percent PRC and Employee Health Scheme and others.
“The June 9 maha dharna is not postponed. We will decide our future course based on the three-member Officers Committee report and the government’s response,” a TGEJAC member said.
