Hyderabad: After the successful launch of the Kylaq range, Škoda Auto India has launched the all-new second-generation Kodiaq SUV, marking the brand’s latest addition to its expanding lineup. The new Kodiaq is positioned as Škoda’s luxury 4×4 flagship and is now open for bookings, with deliveries set to commence from May 2.
In a press release, Škoda stated that the Kodiaq, starting at ₹46.89 lakh (ex-showroom), combines robust performance with high-end comfort and off-road capability. Powered by a 2.0 TSI engine delivering 150kW and 320Nm torque, the SUV features a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, built on the MQB37 Evo platform.
Available in Sportline and Selection L&K variants, the seven-seater is assembled at the brand’s Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar facility. With enhanced dimensions—now 59mm longer—the Kodiaq offers up to 1,976 litres of luggage space. Interior highlights include a 32.77-cm infotainment screen, tactile Smart Dials, rear tablet holders, and advanced Ergo seats with pneumatic massage function, the release added.
According to the press release, the Kodiaq comes packed with 9 airbags, a 725W Canton sound system, panoramic sunroof, and acoustic windows. Distinct design elements such as LED Beam Crystallinium headlamps, Glossy Black or Dark Chrome trims, and a light strip-accented front grille enhance its premium look.
The Kodiaq is offered in six colours, with exclusive options for each variant. Škoda backs the SUV with a 5-year/125,000 km warranty, 10-year roadside assistance, and complimentary first-year service under the Supercare package.
