Telangana: CPI (M) demands enhancement of compensation for displaced under NIMZ, RRR

Party leader demands Chief Minister to increase the rehabilitation and resettlement package to those who were losing lands under projects proposed in Sangareddy district

Sangareddy: CPI (M) party Sangareddy wing has demanded Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to make a statement by increasing compensation to the farmers who were losing lands under National Investment and Manufacturing Zone (NIMZ), Regional Ring Road (RRR) and other projects proposed in Sangareddy district.
Since the Chief Minister was going to address a public meeting in Zaheerabad after participating in different programmes in the constituency on Friday, the party’s district general secretary Gollapally Jayaraju demanded the Chief Minister to come up with a statement by enhancing the rehabilitation and resettlement (R&R) package to those who were losing lands under these projects.
Jayaraju further demanded the government to come up with a plan to protect River Manjeera from getting polluted. The CPI (M) secretary also asked Revanth to direct the industries located in Sangareddy to provide PF, ESI and other facilities besides giving better salaries following the labour law.
