Farmers stage rasta roko in Jagtial demanding govt to speed up paddy procurement

Jagtial: Farmers staged rasta roko at Gopalraopet of Jagtial urban mandal on Friday, demanding the government to speed up the procurement of paddy.

Speaking on the occasion, agitating people found fault with the government for delaying the procurement of paddy. Though the crop is being soaked due to unseasonal rains, government machinery was least bothered about the problems of farmers, they alleged.
