Rajanna-Sircilla: Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Devasthanam, Vemulawada, Executive Officer K Vinod condemned the news being circulated on social media about the closure of the temple, and made it clear that there was no plan of closing the shrine.

A letter is being widely circulated on social media platforms especially in WhatsApp and Facebook purportedly issued by the EO that the temple will remain closed from June 15 and all Arjitha Sevas will be stopped from the said date.

Reacting to the news, EO Vinod on Wednesday released a note and termed the letter as false. He clarified that no such letter has been issued by the temple authorities and information being spread was false and misleading.

The circulation of such fake communication was creating unnecessary confusion and panic among devotees and the general public. He asked the people not to believe the fake news.

The EO lodged a complaint with the police to take necessary steps to trace the origin of the fake letter and initiate legal action against those responsible for fabricating and circulating the false information.
