BRS urges HYDRAA chief to act against fake social media handles misusing HYDRAA emblem

Hyderabad: A delegation of BRS leaders, including Manne Goverdhan Reddy, K Kishore Goud, Ashish Kumar Yadav, and Abhilash Rangineni, submitted a memorandum to HYDRAA Commissioner AV Ranganath on Tuesday, demanding action against fake social media handles posing as HYDRAA accounts.

Lodged a formal complaint with Hyderabad Commissioner Shri Ranganath IPS against blatant misuse of #HYDRAA’s name & unauthorised use of Govt emblem on social media.

They urged the Commissioner to uphold the dignity of the service and restore public confidence through urgent corrective measures.
In their representation, the leaders flagged the politically motivated misuse of HYDRAA’s name and the Telangana government emblem by unverified X accounts.
They stated that these handles were circulating politically biased content, in violation of Rule 5 of the All India Services (Conduct) Rules, which bars civil servants from engaging in political activity. They stressed that the neutrality of enforcement agencies must not be compromised for political ends.
