Telangana: Yadadri Collector gifts bicycles to intermediate toppers

Calls upon faculty and managements of government junior colleges to actively campaign for increased student enrolment in government institutions

Yadadri-Bhongir: In an effort to encourage students who performed exceptionally well in the Intermediate examinations in the district, Collector M Hanumantha Rao gifted bicycles to five first-year Intermediate students who topped their respective groups in this year’s board exams. Interestingly, three of the five top-performing students were from Government Junior College in Ramannapet.
Dheeraj Kumar (98.09% in MPC group), Sreshta (93.40% in CEC group), and Nandini (98.80% in MLC group) of Ramannapet college secured the highest marks in their respective groups. Ganji Saraswathi (96.59% in BiPC group) of SV Junior College in Valigonda and Abhilasha (93.40% in HEC group) of Government Junior College in Yadagirigutta also topped their respective groups.
Collector Hanumantha Rao invited the toppers to his office, felicitated them, and presented the bicycles.
The Collector also pledged to gift 50 bicycles in the next academic year if all colleges in the district achieve 100% results. He called upon the faculty and managements of government junior colleges to actively campaign for increased student enrolment in government institutions.
Thanking the Collector for his motivating gesture, M Venkat Reddy, Junior Lecturer at Government Junior College in Ramannapet, said such initiatives would certainly inspire students to perform better.
Additional Collector Veera Reddy, RDO Krishna Reddy, DIEO Ramani, and other officials were present.
