Telangana: Four held for robbing lorry driver from UP in Adilabad

Adilabad: Four persons were on Saturday arrested on charges of robbing a lorry driver from Uttar Pradesh at a Dhaba on NH 44 in Echoda mandal on Thursday.
Utnoor ASP Kajal Singh, in a press statement, said that Shaik Sohailuddin, Salam Shravan Kumar, and Salam alias Abdul Yasir, all from Echoda mandal centre and Shaik Raheel of Kinwat in Maharashtra were apprehended while moving suspiciously in Echoda mandal centre.
During investigation, the accused reportedly confessed to robbing Rs.6,500 from the driver after breaking the windshield of his lorry that was parked at an eatery. They admitted to robbing drivers to make a fast buck.
