Chief Minister Revanth Reddy with Union Minister for Road Transport and National Highways Nitin Gadkari in Hyderabad on Monday.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy urged Union Minister for Road Transport and National Highways Nitin Gadkari to extend financial support and accord Cabinet approval for the northern part of the Regional Ring Road (RRR).

Tenders have already been invited and he sought cooperation from the Centre to complete the northern and southern part of RRR simultaneously.


The Chief Minister met the Union Minister at the Begumpet airport late on Monday evening.

He requested Gadkari to sanction an elevated corridor from Mannanur to Srisailam for the Hyderabad-Srisailam section of NH-765 and Hyderabad-Amaravati greenfield expressway at the earliest.

The Chief Minister briefed him about the importance of developing radial roads connecting ORR and RRR.

Gadkari was also requested to sanction the Hyderabad-Dindi-Mannanur, Hyderabad-Mancherial Greenfield Highway and development works of the highway and radial road from ORR to Manneguda.
