Adilabad: A 19-year-old, aspiring to become a medical student died, allegedly by suicide, as he was upset over not being able to perform well during the recent National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) in Utnoor mandal centre on Monday.
Police said Roy Manoj (19), son of teacher Gangadhar from Angadibazaar in Utnoor mandal headquarters, resorted to the drastic step by hanging as he was upset thinking that he had not performed in NEET. He was immediately shifted to a hospital in Utnoor. However, doctors declared him brought dead.
