Telangana: Backpain forces 25-year-old woman to end life in Mancherial

Unable to bear severe backpain Gurijala Anusha, 25, hanged herself in Hajipur. Depressed despite treatment, she took the extreme step

Mancherial: A married woman allegedly hanged herself to death as she was unable to bear severe backpain in Hajipur mandal centre early on Tuesday morning.

Police said that Gurijala Anusha (25), wife of Rakesh from old Mancherial, was found hanging at her parents’ place. Anusha was diagnosed with lower backpain two years back. She consulted a doctor and had treatment for the disease. However, she was depressed after being unable to bear the pain.

She was staying with her parents for two months. She resorted to the extreme step when her parents were asleep around 4 am. She had a son and daughter.

Her father Anjayya lodged a complaint with police. A case was registered. Investigations were taken up.
