Hyderabad: The 8th edition of the annual Quambiant Developers Global Grace Cancer Run (GGCR)–2025 is back in Hyderabad and will be held on October 12, Sunday, at Gachibowli stadium. The Cancer Run, which is being organised by Hyderabad-based GRACE Cancer Foundation in collaboration with Evernorth, will also be available in virtual mode.
This year’s run with the theme ‘Run for Grace and Screen for Life’ is being organised to raise awareness about cancer, promote physical activity as a preventive measure, and enable access to free doorstep cancer screening for the underprivileged, Founder, Grace Cancer Foundation and senior robotic cancer surgeon, Dr Chinnababu Sunkavalli said on Friday.
The proceeds from the cancer run will be utilised to fund mobile cancer screenings for underserved communities. On Friday, achievers from various walks of life including Dr Alagu Varsini, IAS, Secretary, Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWREIS); Shilpa Reddy, entrepreneur, and fashion designer, doctors, runners, volunteers and others were present in the poster unveiling function.
