Tripuraram village in Telangana’s Nalgonda honours parents of soldiers

Nalgonda: Residents of Tripuraram village in Nalgonda district paid special tributes to the unwavering dedication of India’s soldiers by honouring their parents in a traditional “paadapuja” ceremony on Saturday.
The event was organised in acknowledgment of the sacrifices made not only by the soldiers themselves, but by their families as well.
The parents of several jawans currently serving in critical postings across the country were felicitated by performing the ritual.
Among them were Nagiri Ramakrishnamma and Mallaiah, parents of Nagiri Sridhar (serving in Pune Battalion), Padishala Venkamma and Chinna Mattayya, parents of Padishala Mahesh (CRPF, Jammu & Kashmir), and Boddu Salamma and Parvatalu, parents of Boddu Anjaneyulu (AOC, Assam).
Their feet were ceremonially washed, extending gratitude and respect.
