HYDERABAD: Tension prevailed at the residence of Malkajgiri MP Eatala Rajender at Shamirpet after Congress workers turned up in large numbers and staged a protest against his comments against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
The BJP MP has been very vocal against the Chief Minister since the last two days and alleged that he was behaving like a psycho. The Chief Minister had failed to implement the six guarantees assured to the people and was staying oblivious to the hardships being faced by different sections, the BJP MP had alleged.
Speaking at his residence on Monday, he said owners living in different colonies at Alwal and even temples were served notices. All these houses were constructed long back and the government was trying to demolish them, he said.
However, Congress workers raised objections over the BJP MP’s comments against the Chief Minister and turned up at his residence to stage a protest. Sensing trouble, local police deployed personnel at the MP’s residence and took a few Congress workers into custody.
