Telangana: Two accused arrested in ganja case in Khammam


Khammam: Two persons involved in ganja smuggling were arrested and two kg ganja was seized from them, informed Karepalli Inspector of Police Tirupati Reddy.

He said that Karepalli SI Rajaram and staff while patrolling at Karepalli cross roads spotted two persons, Valipireddy Raj Kamal and Kunja Dilip of Kothagudem moving suspiciously. When they were detained and checked, police found two kg ganja in a bag they were carrying.


During investigation it was found that Raj Kamal of Yellandu in Kothagudem district was the main accused in two murder cases under Yellandu and Karepalli police stations limits. He was also an accused in a ganja case under Khammam excise police Station.

A case under the NDPS Act was registered at Karepalli police station against the accused, the CI said.
