Amrita University announces launch of new international law school

The school, opening at the Coimbatore campus, will offer five-year integrated undergraduate programmes – B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) – designed to equip students with a comprehensive foundation in both Indian and international legal frameworks

Hyderabad: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has announced the launch of its International School of Law, with admissions now open for the academic year 2025–26.

The school, opening at the Coimbatore campus, will offer five-year integrated undergraduate programmes – B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) – designed to equip students with a comprehensive foundation in both Indian and international legal frameworks.

The curriculum includes core subjects of Indian Laws and a comparative study of various legal systems across the globe. The courses aim to prepare students for a wide range of professional roles in law, policy, and governance, both at domestic and global level.

The courses are offered in collaboration with different foreign universities and are backed by strong placement support facilitated by the university’s Corporate and Industry Relations (CIR) division, a press release issued here said.
