Bizarre incident stuns families in Huzurabad rural mandal

Karimnagar: In a bizarre incident, a bridegroom married another woman one day before his marriage. This incident took place in Huzurabad rural mandal.

According to local people, a native of Rangapur, Kunta Madhukar Reddy, who is working as a software engineer, was to marry a woman from Katrapalli and got engaged to her.

Besides a Rs 40 lakh worth land, ten tolas of gold and Rs 6 lakh worth other equipment were promised to be given to Madhukar Reddy.

Though the wedding was scheduled on Friday, he got married to another woman on Thursday morning.

Shocked after knowing about the incident, parents of the lady grilled the groom’s father Srinivas Reddy. As Srinivas Reddy gave a reckless answer, they lodged a complaint with police.
