Siddipet: An Indian Army soldier, B Rama Swamy, who was discharging duties on the India-Pakistan border in Jammu and Kashmir, has released a video accusing a village revenue officer’s family of encroaching on his land at Chowdarpally in Akberpet-Bhumpally mandal.
Rama Swamy said the encroachers were harassing his parents and family members, besides removing their names from the land records. Though his parents had approached the MRO, RDO and Collector’s office in Siddipet, there was no response from any officer because the said VRO was influencing them, he alleged in the video.
He requested the people to share the video until it reaches Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. Rama Swamy’s video has now gone viral on social media, with many demanding that the government immediately resolve the issue.
Meanwhile, former Minister T Harish Rao spoke to Siddipet Collector M Manu Chowdary and asked him to resolve the issue. He said that it was every citizen’s responsibility to support a soldier who was fighting the enemies on the border.
