Samsung launches ‘Solve for Tomorrow 2025’ initiative: Empowering India’s young innovators with Rs 1 cr in grants

The initiative will provide INR 1 crore in grants to the top four winning teams for project incubation, including prototyping, investor connections, and expert mentorship. Participants will benefit from extensive training in design thinking, business planning, and hands-on prototyping, as well as specialized mentorship from IIT Delhi and Samsung professionals.

Hyderabad: Samsung India has launched its fourth edition of flagship CSR initiative, Solve for Tomorrow 2025, with the aim to inspire young innovators to find technological solutions to societal challenges. This year, students across the country aged 14-22 are invited to submit their innovative ideas under thematic headings being AI, health, education, sports, and environmental sustainability.
The initiative grants INR 1 crore to four winning teams to incubate their projects, which include prototyping, investor connect, and mentorship by experts. Participants are provided training in design thinking, business planning, and hands-on prototyping, with guidance from IIT Delhi and Samsung professionals.
The program is now launched and will accept applications until June 30, 2025. Besides funding, the participants will get an opportunity to spend time in Samsung’s R&D facilities, receive guidance from industry veterans, and pitch at the grand finale.
Since its inception in 2010, the project has had over 3 million participants globally and intends to stimulate the next generation of leaders and innovators to take technology-based solutions aimed at the betterment of mankind.
