Houthi: Persian Gulf states’ money flowing to US must be used to stop Gaza genocide

A high-ranking Yemeni official denounced certain Persian Gulf states for striking multi-billion-dollar deals with US President Donald Trump during his recent tour of the region, stressing that financial gains from such agreements must be used to stop the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on Gaza.
“The money flowing from [Persian] Gulf countries to the US should at the very least be used to halt the genocide in Gaza, and allow humanitarian aid in,” said Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, a member Yemen’s Supreme Political Council.
He added that Trump’s four-day tour of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates this week was about extortion and money-grabbing than about development of those countries.
Houthi said the Yemeni nation does not harbor any hopes in the Arab regimes, which are still living in a state of defeat and psychological collapse.
“Arabs possess levers for pressure or influence which they can use. Nonetheless, they have opted not to employ them, and have even taken the decision not to break off diplomatic ties with the Zionist entity,” he said.
The senior Yemeni official went on to take a swipe at the Arab League, stating that the regional organization has long been inefficient, and has not taken a single honorable stance, neither on Gaza nor any other issue.
As the genocidal war on Gaza escalated, the Yemenis enacted a strategic blockade on essential maritime routes, with the goal of obstructing the delivery of military supplies to Israel and urging the international community to take action regarding the ongoing humanitarian emergency in Gaza.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared they will continue their assaults until Israel ceases its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.
