Israel claims two men arrested on suspicion of spying for Iran

Israeli authorities say they have arrested two men suspected of surveilling minister of military affairs, Israel Katz, on behalf of Iran.
According to a joint statement by Israel Police and Shin Bet spy service, Roy Mizrahi and Almog Atias, both 24, were detained in late April for conducting intelligence-gathering missions for Iran.
It claimed that the two men are accused of shadowing Katz, in the community of Kfar Ahim in the southern occupied territories.
Israel’s Hebrew-language outlet Ynetnews reported that the men had been instructed by Iranian agents to purchase a camera for live video transmission and install it in the area where Katz lives.
Iran has made no statement on Israel’s claim.
Last week, the regime’s security agencies claimed they arrested a 16-year-old teen on suspicion of spying for Iran in exchange for cash.
