Iranian and US negotiators are set to meet in Rome on Friday for a fifth round of nuclear talks. The talks are slated to be held in the Omani Embassy in Rome.
The Iranian negotiating team is headed by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, and the US delegation is headed by Steve Witkoff, the US special Middle East envoy.
In a post on his X account before departing for Rome, Foreign Minister Araghchi stressed that that there would be no deal if the US insisted on zero enrichment in Iran.
