Israel constantly attacks Gaza’s European Hospital

Gaza’s Civil Defense Agency has reported that the Israeli regime has been attacking the European Hospital and its vicinity near Khan Younis since Tuesday.

First responders and rescuers have said that the Israeli attacks on the European Hospital on Tuesday killed at least 28 people.

Gaza’s Civil Defense Agency has said bodies of some victims were scattered around the hospital area due to the intensity of the bombardment.

“One of the strikes hit a bulldozer that was working to clear rubble in the hospital’s courtyard to recover the bodies of people killed on Tuesday”, said the medical personnel on Wednesday.

Medical service at the facility has been severely disrupted due to the attacks, with patients unable to access the compound and ambulances unable to leave.

According to the reports, the Israeli regime attacks anyone who tries to get close to the wounded or the bodies around the hospital.

The Israeli forces attacked Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis on Tuesday as well. They claimed they targeted a “Hamas command center” under the hospital. They killed two people, including a wounded journalist, Hassan Eslaih, during the attack.

Gaza’s Government Media Office has confirmed the killing of Eslaih, who was receiving treatment at the hospital’s burn unit for severe injuries sustained during an April 7 Israeli strike on a media tent located next to the hospital.

Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Wednesday that since dawn, 20 dead and 125 injured people have arrived at Gaza hospitals.

According to preliminary statistics, the Israeli regime has killed 70 and injured dozens across the Strip since morning.

Many victims have remained under the rubble and on the roads, and first responders have been unable to reach them.

Since March 18, when the Israeli regime broke its ceasefire agreement with the Hamas resistance group, the regime has killed 2,799 people and injured 7,805.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli regime has killed 52,928 and injured 119,846 Palestinians in Gaza, according to the health ministry of the besieged territory.
