Telangana Cricket Association lodges complaint with BCCI Ombudsman against HCA

Hyderabad: Telangana Cricket Association lodged a complaint with the Ombudsman of BCCI (based in Mumbai) about the “violation by the Hyderabad Cricket Association on the Telangana High Court orders of March 21, 2025, to resolve the collaboration (between TCA and HCA) as directed by the BCCI on July 11, 2021.

“Either on the meeting day or after our meeting with HCA on 29.03.2025, the HCA had not spoken anything about HCA’s plans about cricket in districts. While the BCCI, the honorable High Court and TCA were awaiting the compliance of HCA in terms of collaboration in the districts outside Hyderabad City, HCA has surprisingly announced its summer camps in Hyderabad and the the districts today,” TCA General Secretary Guruva Reddy said on Thursday.

“As envisaged by the BCCI, and as sought by the High Court of Telangana, HCA should have consulted TCA for the Summer Camps plans as well. The TCA condemns and objects to the HCA motives to land grabbing and bulldozing the game in territories nurtured by the TCA,” he said.

“Hence we hereby register our complaint on HCA for its violations of pending compliance and announcing the summer camps in districts without talking to us,” the TCA official said appealing for necessary steps to avert a growing conflict between HCA and the TCA and refrain the former from any activity without consulting TCA.
